Summary Grandmother is a dedication of the poet who still loves her even after her death.  He believes that his grandmother is an icon to him who he could recognize whenever he saw her from a distance. He still remembers her carrying a plastic shopping bag. His grandmother used to wear a particular dress, a scarf on her head. She smelt of roots vegetables and earth. The poet here is giving a tribute to his grandmother by recalling those adorable hands that caressed him with so much love and affection. He feels those damp hands still on his head warm. मन्त्रिमण्डलमा, संसदसभामा, अनि जनताका प्रत्येक सचेत मगजहरुमा जब नयाँ नेपालको खाँचोको महसुुुस भयो तब मेरो कवि मनमा एउटा नयाँ कविता लेख्नु पर्ने आवश्यकताको महसुस भयो । त्यसैले, उता ६०१ को छनोट भइ रहँदा मैले पनि छान्न थालेँ कवितात्मक छाँटहरु अनि बान्की परेका शब्दहरु । हरेक बिहान घाम लाग्थ्यो जाडो या गर्मी घाम पारिलै हुन्थ्यो र, तेही पारिलो घामको छाया ताप्दै हाई काढ्दै र आँखा मिच्दै म कविता लेख्थेँ ः– विधिको विधान – नेपालको संविधान । तर, कृषिप्रधान देशलाई कुर्सी प्रधान बनाउन थालिए पछि कागजका ती उर्वर पानाका गरा गरामा कुनै शब्द उब्जाउन सकिनँ नयाँ कविता लेख्ने एउटा अर्को प्रयास खेर गएको महसुस भयो । बित्थैमा, राज्यको चुनाव खर्च खेर गयो २ करोड जनताको सपना तुहियो आफ्नो कविताले आफ्नै चित्त नबुझेपछि मनमा निराशा छाउन थाल्यो जुन, स्वास्थ्यको लागि हानिकारक थियो त्यसैले  मनलाई आश्वासन दिलाउन ‘भोलि लेख्छु’ भन्दै म्याद थप्न थालेँ ‘सँगिनी सुई’ जस्तै ‘एक पटक लाए पछि तीन महिना ढुक्क ।’ दिलाइएको आश्वासन न हो

परिच्छेद १५ भरियालाई विदेशी तानल बोकाएर आएको राम बहादुरलाई लतमायाले विदेशी तान फिर्ता लान लगाउनु, लतमायामा आएको एकाएकको यस्तो परिवर्तनले चकित परेका राम बहादुरले त्यसको कारण सोध्दा लतमायाले आफ्नो तान हुँदा हुँदै अरुलाई दुःख दिन नहुने छोराहरुको मत भएको बहाना बनाउनु, ठूल्ठूला सामन्तहरुले समेत लिनु पर्ने मद्दत गरिब निमुखाहरुले नकार्न नहुने कुरा राम बहादुरले बताएपछि लतमायाले त्यस्तो अहम् भावले नभई अघि मद्दत दिने मद्दतगारहरुले धोका दिएकाले छोराहरु डराएको कुरा प्रष्ट पार्नु, राम बहादुरले सुब्बा सुरमान त्यस कोटिका मानिस नभएका र उनीहरुलाई मद्दत गर्न कर्तव्य भएको कुरा बताएपछि लतमायाले गाँठी कुरा नबुझेको कुरा बताउनु, अर्को कोठामा लगेर राम बहादुरले लतमायालाई अष्ट नारानले नानीथकुँको हात सुब्बा सुरमानलाई दिइ सकेको कुरा बताउँदा लतमायाले विश्वास नगरेपछि आफूले झुट नबोलेको कसम खानु, कहिल्यै सुख भोग नगरेकी लतमायालाई राम बहादुरले सुब्बा सुरमानसँग सम्बन्ध जोडेपछि हुने फाइदाहरु बताई सपना देखाउनु, ठाडै स्वीकृति नदिए पनि लतमायामा आफ्नो कुराले राम्रो प्रभाव पारेको थाहा पाएर राम बहादुर अरु कुराका लागि
